Mechanical Engineer (m/f)

Odersun offers a unique technology to address the specific requirements to integrate Photovoltaic into the building industry (BiPV). To exploit this technology and to develop a competitive roadmap Odersun is seeking a motivated and experienced mechanical engineer for the facade market.

Tasks:

• Design and construction of supporting structures and substructures for individual PV-solutions
• Support and supervision of manufacturing and installation
• Preparation of samples and test setups in-house

Qualification:

• Engineering degree or qualification as technician in the area of mechanical engineering
• Several years experience in structural building element sector and/or metal construction
• Extensive know how in the area of mechanics, material science and construction
• Good experience in CAD-systems like Autocad or similar and electrical engineering are advantageous

In addition we expect: Creativity, independent and universal thinking, quality consciousness, scientific approach to resolve issues, customer oriented thinking, fluent in German and English, additional languages are a plus
