The façade experts from FranzenGroup have detailed knowledge of Odersun’s customized solar products and offer both the electrical layout of the integrated solar system and its professional installation. FranzenGroup plans and installs fully integrated PV façades using existing façade systems as well as providing solutions for highly individual building projects.
The FranzenGroup works in the field of open system curtain wall façades and has the necessary cross-discipline know-how to meet the challenge of integrating photovoltaics in building façades.

Franzen Ingenieur- und Montagebau GmbH is focused on the façade and roof covering sector for power plant construction and curtain wall type, rear-ventilated façades. In addition to this, is a range of energetically sensible solutions, which extend from photovoltaic systems through to the provision of ecological and economical construction materials. The company has 5 sites across Germany and an international focus.
Franzen Industrie- und Gewerbebau GmbH is active in turnkey construction. This includes redevelopment of existing buildings, revitalisation and the implementation of investor projects. The company has branches in Kottenheim und Oberhausen while a third branch is planned to open in Hamburg in 2012.
Within Franzen Metall-Umformtechnik GmbH, the experts of the Franzensolar division consult architects and builders in the planning of photovoltaic systems including the system’s electrical layout and their installation.
FranzenGroup combines, under one roof, all the necessary skills for both aesthetic and functional installation and layout of integrated solar façades. Unnecessary interfaces with other trades are no longer applicable. This is unique in Germany.
Airtec Photovoltaik Façades (Lithodecor)
Odersun and Lithodecor, producer of ventilated curtain wall systems, cooperate in the segment of solar façades. In focus of this collaboration stands the company’s Airtec Photovoltaics System with custom-made CIS solar modules by Odersun. The system consists of a solar module with a light weight concrete plate attached to the back as well as back rails with clasp mounting.
Apart from classic materials such as glass and natural stone, Airtec façades are available with multi-functional façade components integrating photovoltaics. Lithodecor and Odersun provide solar elements for both system-compatible and project specific solar building integration. Lithodecor, therefore, is able to provide system standard sizes as well as individual made-to-measure solutions.
